Site Rules

We don't like rules but sometimes they are needed.  We would appreciate it if you could familiarise yourself with the following to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay at The Grouse and Claret....


  • We are a family site and we have a strict No Noise policy after 10.30pm.  On site music has to be OFF at this time and we ask that noise is kept to a minimum from 10:30pm - 7:00am anywhere on the campsite.  Anyone continually causing a disturbance will be asked to leave.

  • NO open fires/campfires are allowed in any circumstances.

  • Parents/Guardians are to ensure that their children are supervised at all times whilst on site especially in the play areas.  It is not supervised and it is your responsibility to ensure that they do not hurt themselves or others.

  • The site speed limit is 5 mph.

  • Pitches are allocated on arrival and we operate a first come first served basis

  • All cars must be removed from site immediately after set up (This is due to fire regulations specific to our site, We know this is not ideal but is necessary until a solution is found that the local fire Marshall is happy with, It is for your safety. Please restrict vehicular movement on the campsite between 22.30 hours and 7.30 hours (NO EXCEPTIONS). anyone in breach of this will be asked to leave without warning.

  • Please position your caravan with the “Jockey Wheel” facing the road ways and Motor homes facing forward, awnings pitched normal side only.

  • Well behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be on a short lead at all times (maximum 2 dogs per pitch) Please clean all dog mess up immediately.

  • We have a strict no tent or Gazebo policy (No Exceptions).

  • CANCELLATION: We require 48 hours notice for cancelations. If cancelled less than 48hrs hours the full payment for your stay will be taken from the card held on file.  We recommend you take out holiday insurance to protect yourself against possible loss

As the person making the booking, you are responsible for ensuring your party complies with these Terms and Conditions, and by booking you are confirming that you and your party will adhere to them.
